MO and ILIO
​
A story of an extra-ordinary friendship of a bird, a forest Chickadee named MO and his food, a caterpillar named ILIO. MO has a heart as soft as a ball of fur. Chickadees love feeding on spruce budworms, cankerworms and above all, juicy caterpillars! But little MO is different from his family, he gets nightmares of swallowing insects alive.

One day on the way to school, he sees his insects surrounding a baby caterpillar. Some of the birds start calling him a coward for being afraid of eating an insect. He distracts everyone with his jokes and saves the caterpillar. He names the caterpillar ILIO. But to his surprise little ILIO has an enormous appetite. MO can no longer hide ILIO. He has no other option than to leave his home. Together they set out against the world, laughing in the face of challenges.

Kana
Kana is a playful baby wave.
During the Tsunami attacks, Kana realizes that he too is destined to be a violent and destructive, magnificent yet
stone-hearted. He prays to the heavens to freeze himself instead. Kana sets out on a journey with a tiny boat which becomes his companion during the storms. Kana reaches a cave where he meditates for the divine to transform him. The baby wave freezes and remains the same for years to come. The boat, a faithful and loving companion remains by his side. But good things don’t last forever, one harsh summer melts him. Kana dreads his future.

The name “Kana” means a tiny particle in the Marathi language. It is also inspired from the The Great Wave off Kanagawa.

Balloonie
Balloonie is a chirpy young polythene bag. She was thrown into a garbage bin, and soon made it her home. The world in the trash is extraordinary, the misfits of the society, full of wonders and secrets. Balloonie faces obsessive fears of contamination along with cleaning and sanitizing compulsions. But she makes new friends along the way, who help her in unexpected ways.
She loves spending her evenings on the rooftop, in the exhaust pipes that run up the café kitchen.

This a story of Shanti Amma and her pet — a little white pigeon. Shanti Amma found the pigeon when she was working
in the forest.The pigeon simply flew from a tree and sat on her shoulder. The pigeon wouldn’t budge even as she tried to shoo it away. Shanti Amma brought her home and named her Lucky. They were inseparable, they would eat, read and sleep together. After a long day of work as a cleaning staff, Shanti Amma would look forward to hug Lucky once she reached home. Their happiness didn’t last long, a neighbourhood cat sneaked into her flat and ate Lucky. Shanti Amma wept for days, her life was hit by a storm. She missed Lucky miserably, she saw her everywhere. She dreamt of floating among the stars with Lucky drawn as constellations.
